Frequently Asked Questions

Who can I contact if I have questions regarding my CSA? 

Please feel free to reach out to us at any time with questions, feedback, or concerns! We’re happy to help through email or schedule a phone call to walk you through any process.

Wha's unique about your CSA System? 

With our CSA system, we plan to meet your needs by allowing you to choose the share size that works for you. Your share is also entirely customized by you, meaning you shop "market-style" in person and choose all your own veggies each week.

Am I able to purchase items in addition to my share? 

Yes! Our members are able to purchase a Market Card to make extra purchases while at their pickup.

How will I make my monthly payments? 

You are welcome to pay monthly by credit card, bank transfer, cash, check, or SNAP. We send out recurring monthly invoices through Quickbooks on the 1st of each month as a friendly reminder. You are able to pay manually or set up automatic payments through these invoices. If you need to set up another payment plan with us, please reach out to our CSA manager, Rebecca at csa@greenwagonfarm.com

Can you make arrangements for missed pickups and vacations? 

We cannot. However, we are able to accommodate switching between pickup days with one week’s prior notice. We also always encourage our members to have a friend or family member pick up in their place (no need to tell us ahead of time). If you foresee ongoing scheduling conflicts, please consider purchasing a Market Card instead of participating in the CSA. Market Cards still grant you shopping access to discounted veggies at any of our weekly CSA pickups. You can also use the cards to shop at the Saturday farmers markets and at our Farm Store. The cards do not expire.

If I miss a pickup, do my points roll over to the next week? 

Points do not roll over to the next week if a pickup is missed.

Can I change my CSA share size? 

Yes! If you are discovering that you are receiving too much or too little food, please email csa@greenwagonfarm.com and we are happy to change your share to your preferred size.

How do I store my veggies?

Why is there sometimes low product availability throughout the season? 

Our product availability is very dependent on the season. If you are noticing less veggies available to you at any time, please know that we are in transition and have worked hard at our crop planning to provide you with the best variety of crops, all year-round. With farming, there are unforeseen things that arise and are oftentimes out of our control. When this happens, we try to be as transparent as possible, and always encourage you to ask questions! Can I come see the farm at any time? 

Our Farm Store is open year-round on Tuesdays-Saturdays, 9am-6pm. Along with this, we offer scheduled tours throughout the main season of June-October. We also welcome you to walk our trails during the Tuesday CSA pickup (Tuesdays, 3:30-6pm), or send us an email to let us know that you’d like to stop by and walk around! 

Can I cancel my CSA membership? 

If circumstances require you to cancel, please email us at csa@greenwagonfarm.com for next steps. We are able to provide a refund if you paid in full for the season, however we do not provide partial refunds for canceling in the middle of the month. We need at least a two week's notice for all cancellations.
